KIRDARC firmly believes in democratic values and principles and strives to maintain caste and gender equity and inclusive approach in its governance, management and programs. It has nine executive board members with seven members in advisory committee. The general members constitute the General Assembly for the organization, which is held annually. The General Assembly is the supreme body of the organization which makes policy decisions and elects a nine member Executive Committee for three-year period. The Executive Committee includes two women, two Dalits and three members from ethnic communities.
